It was a beautiful sunny day at Wainoni park for this years AFFIRM 23 event, with whānau coming out to enjoy the many activities organised by the amazing team at the Aranui Community Trust, and of course our very own small but humble crew of kaimahi in attendance to tautoko an amazing day for the east side community.

We look forward to these days as an opportunity to give back alongside our fellow service providers so whilst whānau were enjoying the many live performances, games and delicious kai they could also have a chance to kōrero with various kaimahi and find out about where they can go for support should they need it, this is hugely important as we embrace mahi tahi in the hauora space, and it further endorses the value of an event like AFFIRM for east canterbury.
Our team had a busy day giving out toothbrushes, caps, tee shirts & kupu cards as well as helping participants fill out a survery where they could guess the amount of the items in our grocery hamper, the winner (as seen in the picture displayed) won over $500 worth of groceries, congratulations to Victoria and her whānau!
Once again, we would like to thanks ACTIS for having us, and we look forward to next years event.
